For over twenty years he worked in the financial/retirement plan industry, opening his own practice in 2001. Much of his success in this arena was due to the articles he regularly penned for clients and their employees which took complicated, often convoluted concepts and terms and broke them down into relatable stories.\n\nWriting, always his first love, is how Marshall spends his time in Costa Rica. In addition to authoring numerous articles for regional publications, he regularly posts articles to his own website (www.marshall-cobb.com) and has completed several novels: Will of The Hill, Census: What Lurks Beneath, The Promise of The Orb, River Tree and Árbol Río.
